06 May 2008: First Aiders Required |
|
| This is an appeal on behalf of the Medical volunteers who attend Ashfield each week. The new Speedway rules state that the First Aid Team should consist of a minimum of 7 people including a Medical Officer (namely Paramedic/Doctor) and an Ambulance Driver. So the other 5 are covered by volunteers at Event Medix. If the full 7 are not available then meetings cannot take place. Therefore, we need more people to come and join us as our volunteer numbers are dropping. 06 May 2008: Update on Injuries |
|
| Josh has in fact sustained broken bones in both his wrist and hand. He is due back at the hospital on Thursday and we won't know until after this visit, how long he will be out for. Mitchell Davey is under Doctors orders to rest for the next week or so. He will return to the side for our home meeting with Scunthorpe on May 18th. Shane's condition remains the same and we don't know as yet when he will return to action. We wish all our injured riders a speedy recovery. |

| Mitchell was today released from hospital. He is up and about but feeling a little sore. We will update you throughout the week on not only his recovery, but also that of Shane Parker. Best wishes to you both. |

04 May 2008: Replacement for Mitchell at Newcastle |

| Gary Beaton will replace the injured Mitchell Davey in tomorrow's meeting with Newcastle Diamonds at Brough Park. Good luck to you tomorrow Gary. Mitchell took a heavy fall today at Ashfield and required to attend hospital. An update on his condition will be posted later. Get well soon Mitch. |
