It will be a case of fingers crossed this Sunday as we try to get back to Speedway racing. The weather and a curtailed fixture list has meant that we have not raced a league fixture since 24th June and the Brummies come north this week seeking to reignite their league campaign.
The break has done some of the lads good and below is the full press release ahead of the meeting with news of who is fit and who is not - and who the Brummies have called in as a guest for Chris Kerr! |

28 Jun 2010: Tigers Get Sky Date |
The A-Plant Tigers have been allocated their first live SKY TV fixture later in the season when the trip to Somerset will be covered by the Sattelite company.
The date of the meeting will change to Monday 9th August and we look forward to seeing Nigel, Kelvin and Charlie running the rule over the Tigers.
This is a massive boost to everyone at the club and we hope that our improved form over recent weeks will lead to an exciting meeting for the cameras. |

27 Jun 2010: Glasgow v King's Lynn - Postponed |

27 Jun 2010: Changes Galore! |
There are a few changes to the initially advertised line ups for this afternoons exciting Premier League clash with Kings Lynn, the current league champions.
As we knew, already out are Linus Eklof and Joe Haines for Kings Lynn, with Andrew Tully and r/r replacing them, but they have now also lost the services of Casper Wortmann who was injured in Denmark, his replacement will be Newport's Alex Davies.
The Tigers will leave it until the last minute on the fitness of Lee Dicken, who is deciding on his fitness on Sunday morning but have also suffered a further blow with Jamie Courtney missing due to illness. He is suffering fever type symptons and will sit out this clash with Buxton's Robert Branford taking his place in the A-Plant Tigers team today.
Please note that the gates will open earlier today to allow anyone to see the England v Germany game in the bar at 3.00pm. |
