Second newcomer to the Glasgow team and bit of a surprise signing, as he had fallen off the PL radar, having last ridden in 2007 for Redcar. Although he did appear in the NL for Rye House in 2008-09.
He started in 2003 with the Rye House second team and has ridden for a number of sides in his short career, including Workington and the Isle of Wight. His experience of the Southern tracks makes him a useful signing.
He is the son of former Tiger Mark Courtney.
